Since we can now integrate lightweight receivers capable to measure higher frequencies (e.g. up to 50 GHz, whereas even higher frequencies are available on request) in our AMU, the inspection of microwave links becomes one of the key applications of our AMU. The idea is to use the unique flying and hovering capabilities of the drone to position the measurement antenna within the beam of a microwave link – under the considerations of some safety distances from the mast and the operation conditions of the given environment.
